This Privacy Policy describes how AZ Comfort Solutions ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you use this site. We aim to be straightforward and minimal — we collect only what we need to run the directory and don't sell or share personal information.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect a username, an email address, an optional display name, and a hashed copy of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you submit a company or leave a testimonial, we associate the submission with your account.

We log basic technical information for every request — IP address, user agent, and the URL requested — for security, abuse prevention, and operational troubleshooting. This information is kept on our servers and is not sold or shared with third parties.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser. We anonymize IP addresses sent to Google Analytics. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can review and opt out of personalized advertising via your Google Ads settings.

Information we display about businesses

Information about HVAC companies — name, address, phone number, ratings, and review counts — is sourced from publicly available data including the Google Places API. We do not represent any company listed on this site, and listings do not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, the company shown.

Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie (named azcs.sid) to keep you logged in. It is HTTP-only and same-site. We use a CSRF token kept in that same session — it never leaves your session record. Third-party cookies may be set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above.

Your rights

You can change your password at any time from the account menu. To delete your account or have a review removed, contact us using the email below and we'll process the request promptly.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
